Trova Solutions came out of enterprise security. Years spent on the defensive side of a large regulated organisation, running vulnerability management, incident response and data loss prevention at a scale where a single mistake could put hundreds of millions of dollars at stake.
Those environments teach you which controls actually hold and which ones only look good in a policy document. Every lesson came from something that went wrong, got reviewed, and got reinforced. That is the body of work we brought to small and medium sized enterprises (SMEs).
Because the gap is rarely budget. It is the same pattern every time: an email and cloud setup left on defaults, laptops nobody manages, accounts that outlived the people who used them, and a team nobody ever trained. None of that is expensive to fix. It just needs someone who has seen what the alternative costs.
We are based in Vaughan and support businesses across the GTA, remote most days and on site when the work calls for it, plus clients further afield across Canada.

Meet the Founder
I gained my experience on the front lines of enterprise security. Vulnerability management, incident response and data loss prevention across Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace, in an environment where the threats arriving were the ones genuinely being used in the wild, not the ones in last year's write-up.
That is the difference I wanted to bring to SMEs. You learn which techniques attackers are actually deploying, which controls stop them, and which ones only look reassuring. Then you size that down to a business of twenty people and make it something they can live with.
That habit has not stopped. We follow the cyber news headlines and sit on government security advisory mailing lists, so we know what is actually being exploited this week and which clients it touches, before it becomes a headline about one of them.
Trova Solutions is now building a team on that same footing. People who have defended a large environment carry a different level of attention to detail, because they have watched what happens when a small thing gets missed. That is the standard every client gets, regardless of their size. The team holds the SSCP from ISC2 and Microsoft's SC-200 Security Operations Analyst certification, and Trova is an authorized Microsoft Cloud Solution Provider (CSP) partner and a member of the Microsoft AI Cloud Partner Program.
